TRC Healing Journey

These materials are provided with a three-fold purpose.  Firstly, to lead us in a gentle but honest examination and education regarding the history of the relationship with Indigenous people in this country and in particular the effects of our Church's participation in the Residential school system. Secondly, each reflection is based on one of the five essential stages of reconciliation: examen, confession, repentance, reparation (making amends), and reconciliation. Thirdly, it is hoped the reflections will assist people in preparing for Pope Francis’ eventual apostolic journey to Canada.
