Catholic Women’s League (CWL): A national women’s organization rooted in the Gospel Values, calling its membership to holiness through service to the people of God. Meetings include time for spiritual reflection, calls to political awareness, especially in issues important to our faith such as health care and life issues, socializing and responding to various needs in our parish, city and beyond, such as outreach to Santa Maria and the Marian Centre.
Knights of Columbus: An international Catholic family service organization for men, assisting in the parish, locally and throughout all of North America in a great variety of projects in a spirit of Christian faith, hope and love. The Knights are well known for their service and charity fund-raising such as sponsoring the Youth Parliament, Special Olympics and Camp Monahan as well as their fraternal fellowship and support.
Men’s Club: A group of parish men that meet once a month to foster fellowship and support our Pastor and Parish for the progress and the well-being of the church. The Grey Cup pool tickets and pancake breakfasts are some of their fundraising to assist parish and local projects, especially involving youth and Catholic Schools.
Social Justice: Educate parish and promote social justice issues in a variety of ways such as Development and Peace campaigns, collecting items for local charities, work with refugees and other justice concerns locally, nationally and internationally.
